Adam glances away for a second, trying to come up with a way to change the subject. These guys seem friendly enough, but he'd like to make sure they aren't crazy before he tells them anything important.
"None of those, actually. I'm kind of a nomad, you could say. Where are y'all from?"

"Oh, we're from up north. Far north. We're part of a group ya see. We run a business ya see, and decided to set up shop down here." He says, friendly as can be.
"You looking for work?"

He decides that these guys can't be too bad, and takes a seat where the younger man had gestured before.
"I think so," he says, "just depends on what it is."

"Oh, anything and everything. First off, I need ya to put this on. It has a two way communicator, so we can talk to each other you understand." He said, holding out what appeared to be a collar like device.

Adam finally takes the time to examine the men for anything devious looking (OOC: lol, whoops). The collar can't be a good thing. He takes it in his hands and examines it, too. (PER)
"How does this work?" he asks innocently, "I've never seen one before."

The men seem well armed, and rather rugged.
"It's simple: you just put it on your neck, and we'll be able to talk to each other through it. Ain't you ever seen one before? They're really popular up north."

If they're lying or not, Adam wouldn't be able to do anything about it alone. So far, these guys have been nothing but friendly. Maybe he was looking into it too much. He takes a deep breath, and pulls the collar over his head and around his neck.
"Like this?"

"Good, good...Now just push it together and click it..." Red says with palpable anticipation.
Off in the distance, they all hear gunfire and yelling.
"The fuck is that?!" Says corn rows.

"Sounds like gunfire," Adam says bluntly, hoping that this could be his way out of putting the collar on. "and yelling. We should check it out."

"Yeah, let's go check it out. Plenty of time for collars and such later." Red says getting up.
The two men ready their weapons and start moving in the direction of the violence quickly.

Adam follows behind the two men as they make their way toward the noises, making sure to stay behind them in case bullets start flying in their direction. As they get closer, he tries to focus on the yelling to see if he can figure out what's going on.

They get to the top of the hill and see two men fighting one another.
"Hey! What the fuck are you doing?!" Red yells.

"They're gonna kill each eachother!" Adam says as he reaches the top of the hill. "What do we do?" There had been fights back in the vault, but never murders, as far as he knew. the most violence Vault 64 had ever seen was during the escape. It was obvious that these two were out to kill, and watching them made him a little sick to his stomach.

Red raises his 10mm Pistol, and Corn Rows follows suite.
They start down the hill towards the men.
"Cut it the fuck out and drop your weapons!"

Red's complete 180 in personality threw Adam off. The change from nice guy sitting by the fire to angry man waving a gun around wasn't what Adam was expecting. He pulled out his 9mm just to be safe, should this standoff turn ugly.
