"What? I...we need to get up there and grease this bastard," he says dismissing Martin's question.

"Okay, you go first." Martin said, pointing towards the hallway.

Sighing, Richardson readies his Shotgun and starts down the hall, towards the stairs.
They get to the stairs with no problems.
The stairs are a block spiral, which is common in apartment buildings.
"He should be on floor 3, but be carefully, he has the high ground."

"Okay, got your back." Martin waits for Richardson to start climbing the stairs and follows.

They start their ascent upwards, and meet no problems.
However, the stairs to the 3rd floor are all but destroyed when they reach the second floor.
They can either try to jump to the other side of the broken stairs,(High Agility) or search for another way up from the 2nd floor.

"You think you can manage the jump?" Martin looks at Richardson. "I sure can't, so we might have to find another way around."

"No way am I risking it, some of that concrete looks pretty jagged." He replied,
"Let's search for a way up.
Coming out of the stair well, there is a straight hallway, with part of the floor and roof caved in towards the middle.
On the way to the cave in, there are 2 doors on each side of the hallway, and at the cave in, the hall splits left and right.

Let's check left" Martin said and tries to open the door to the left.

The door is extremely stuck, feeling more broken then locked.

Martin tries the door to the right instead.

(PER) He opens the door a little and notices a wire about a foot or so in front of it. Opening the door all the way will trip it.

"Tripwire" Martin whispers to Richardson and points at the string.

"Shit! Alright... stand back." He said, motioning to the side.
Once out of the way, Richardson used the butt of his sshotgun to gently push the door open while standing out of the door way.
There was a TWANG followed by a gun shot.
They looked in and saw that the trap was wired to a mechanism that fired off a shotgun shell when tripped.
It was small, crude, and inaccurate, but would have done a bit of damage.
