Vincent approaches the mayor's dwelling, weighed down by the various loot from his recent excursion. Just another big fish in a small, he figured. He knocked.

A tall, skinny man in a suit too small for him and glasses, answers the door.
"Can I help you?"

"We killed the daggermouth." Vincent replied matter-of-factly, motioning to the skin he carried.

"Ah, you and Jethro? Well done. I assume you'll want your reward. Please, come on in you too!" He said, motioning.

Vincent followed the mayor, his sharp eyes taking in the details of the home as he entered.

The house is actually pretty nice, for post apocalyptia anyway.
There are a few paintings on the walls, replicas you guess.
(INT) You notice most of them are impressionist works, such as Monet's and Van Goghs.

"You have quite the collection here." Vincent remarked, admiring the replicas.
His education at Raven Rock had included in-depth study in all facets of the pre-war world. He had always enjoyed the open composition and emphasis in perception inherent in Impressionist art, but personally favored the darkness of the Baroque masterpieces. Their display of triumphant power and control had always struck a chord with him.
"Wherever did you find them in such condition?"

"Oh the paintings? I made them myself, looking at pictures from an old book. But a man like you would be bored by such things I'm sure." He said, pulling a bag of caps from his suit.

Vincent gritted his teeth to keep himself from saying anything revealing in response. Better to be seen as another run-of-the-mill merc than anything near what he really was.
"Right, men like me only care for caps." he said, extending his hand for payment.

"Alright then. Here you are. 100 each, since the original sum was 200." Diamond said.
"Is there anything else you'll be needing?"

"I don't suppose there's more work to be had?" Vincent asked, once the caps were safely in his pack.

"Not at the moment I'm afraid, but something always comes up."
Nodding to the skin,
"You'll wanna get that to Mallard, down at the general store. He'll give you a good trade, just tell him Diamond sent you."

"I appreciate it." Vincent answered. It paid to be gracious to the man in power, at least until you could take it from him.
With that, he departed and made his way to the general store.
