From some reports by Merchants and Mercs, the small settlement of Waypoint has been decimated.
The signs of torture and human stake burning point at a remnant band of Caesar's Legion. The fact that everyone was killed, even women and children, suggests that the culprit was the centurian known only as "The Beast Of Bakersfield", an especially brutal band leader, wanted for similar atrocities committed up north.
Waypoint was a tiny settlement in southern Georgia, about 20 miles north of Crossway. It got it's name because of the fact that it was merely a place to get direction to the border Boom Town.
